Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 November 2026

These terms apply to BotStable (botstable.eu, panel.botstable.eu and the BotStable Discord server). BotStable is a free hobby project run by one private person in Hungary ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use BotStable.

1. Who can use BotStable

You must be at least 16 years old. If you're younger, you can't use the service.

You're responsible for your account. Keep your login details private. Anything done through your account counts as done by you.

2. What the service is

BotStable gives you a server on our panel where you can run a Discord bot written in Node.js or Python. It's free.

You may only host Discord bots. Websites, game servers, APIs, proxies, file hosting and anything else that isn't a Discord bot are not allowed, unless we've agreed to it in writing (a ticket counts).

Each user gets one server by default. You can ask for more in a ticket. Each server has fixed limits (currently 256 MB RAM, 25% of one CPU core and 1 GB storage). We can change these limits at any time.

3. What's not allowed

You may not use BotStable to host or run anything that:

  • breaks the law, or Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • mines cryptocurrency or uses resources for anything other than running your bot
  • is a selfbot, or automates a normal user account
  • raids, nukes or mass-bans servers, or spams users or channels
  • steals tokens, passwords or other people's data (token grabbers, phishing, credential harvesting)
  • scrapes Discord or other services against their rules
  • shares pirated or copyrighted content you don't have the rights to
  • contains or distributes NSFW content involving minors, or any NSFW content in a way that breaks Discord's rules
  • attacks, scans or floods other servers or networks (DDoS, port scanning, brute forcing)
  • tries to break out of your container, access other users' servers, or get around our limits
  • puts heavy or unreasonable load on our hardware or network

This list isn't complete. If something harms other users, other people, Discord, or BotStable, we can treat it as a breach of these terms even if it isn't listed here.

4. What we can do

We can suspend or delete any server or account, with or without warning, if we believe it breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. We don't have to explain every decision, but you can ask in a ticket.

We don't look at your files. We only access a server's files when:

  • we're investigating suspected abuse or a breach of these terms, or
  • you ask us to and give us permission, for example to help you fix a bug.

5. Inactive servers

If your server hasn't been started for 30 days, we'll email you. If you don't reply within 5 days, we may delete the server and its files. We may also delete accounts that have no servers and no activity for a long time.

6. No guarantees

BotStable is free and provided "as is". We don't promise any uptime, speed or availability. The service can go down, change, or stop completely at any time, with or without notice.

You are responsible for keeping your own backups of your code and data. We are not responsible for lost, corrupted or deleted data, for any reason. Panel backups, if available, are a convenience and not a guarantee.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any damage or loss that comes from using or not being able to use BotStable, including lost data, lost income, or problems with your bot or your Discord server. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under Hungarian or EU law, such as liability for intentional harm or gross negligence.

8. Your content

Your code and data stay yours. You give us permission to store and run them only so we can provide the service. You're responsible for what your bot does and for having the rights to everything you upload.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time by emailing contact@botstable.eu or opening a ticket in our Discord server. We'll delete your servers and account data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we make important changes, we'll announce them in our Discord server. If you keep using BotStable after a change, you accept the new terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. This doesn't take away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country you live in.
